FMF— Excuse

yourdictionary.com defines an excuse as an explanation or a reason for an action. To serve as a justification, To serve as an explanation or justification. 

We’ve all been there before. We’ve made an excuse as to why we did or did not do something, the action or justification. 

We’re not alone. Below are some people in the Bible who made excuses.

Adam and Eve’s excuse; “The serpent made me do it, and don’t look at me; I’m naked.”

Cain was looking out for himself, and he tried to justify his actions.

Lot had a let’s wait and see what happens attitude.

The rich man “ wait, what? You want me to sell all my stuff.”

Gideon basically says, “ me? Are you sure?” and “ don’t you want someone better?”, “ I’m too young.”

Moses said he couldn’t speak well and said to God what “IF” they don’t listen to me.

Jonah tried to run from God, became angry; God asked him if he had a good reason to be angry.
