Oh No! A friend or loved one is ill or feeling under the weather. You want to send a warm, friendly greeting to them. You want them to know you’re thinking of them.

Sometimes we know what we want to say or what’s in our hearts, but we just can’t get it out onto paper or on a card. Where do you start? What should you say?

As we continue with our Ten’s Series, I have dug, had a look around, and browsed to find warm messages to write in a get-well card.

There are loads of sentiments out there. Below I have compiled ten to use if you find yourself wondering what to write.

  • — Praying for you every day during your illness! Remember, you are loved, and God is on your side.

  • — Remember, God gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. (Isaiah 40:29)I am praying for you, and am here for you during this difficult time. (Isaiah 40:29)

  • —Wishing for you to feel better soon! May God grace you with good health and recovery!

  • Praying for God to hold you in the palm of His hand while you continue to heal. I’m so blessed to hear that you’re feeling better.

  • Praying that Jesus blesses you with His love and peace. I know being sick is really hard on you, especially during such a busy season. Praying that you feel better and get all the rest you need!

  • —There is power in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. I have asked for him to instill in you the fortitude you need to restore your full health. May the Lord bless you this day!

  • —The Lord gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. May the healing power of God’s love be with you during your recovery.

  • —The Lord will satisfy the weary soul, and every languishing soul he will replenish. Thinking of you during this time of illness. May you find strength in the Lord and his everlasting love.

  • —Thinking of you with warm thoughts and wishes for good health.

  • —Getting better sometimes takes a village. We’re here for you!
