My Review

What’s the first thing that pops into your head when you see or hear the word TEXT? Is it a text message, font style, textbook, or others? I had seen the TEXT Bible around, and I initially thought it was a new translation. How wrong I was when I realized it was the NET Bible with the TEXT study method.

As I said, I had seen the TEXT Bible around and was curious. So when I was presented with the opportunity to review it, I couldn’t wait.

Since I was reading the book of James, I decided to begin my review from there. I was pleasantly pleased with how easy it was to follow the TEXT format. The flow and wording are really easy to understand.

This hardback NET T.E.X.T Bible comes with two satin ribbon bookmarks, Two additional bookmarks with the TEXT method printed on them, and a small poster infographic to aid in your study time.

The only downside or con for me was the 9-point comfort print. I’m usually okay with the 9-point size, so I don’t know what was going on with me. But I did find it problematic.

My favorite part would have to be the praying TEXT section. This is something I’ve been striving to build upon.

The NET T.E.X.T Is a Bible for students of all ages and stages in their relationship with God. This writing does not talk down to learners but teaches who God is, how to engage with Scripture, and how to have a personal relationship with him.

You’ll enjoy an Accessible new Scripture Engagement Method (TEXT) that connects Scripture to all life. I recommend this Bible as it will make an excellent resource for teens, young adults, new believers, and anyone who doesn’t feel confident engaging Scripture on their own. This means you too advanced learners, if you ever encounter a dry spell.
