I’m thinking about revamping my garden area, Paula. I think I may exchange pots of vinca with pots of ivy.

    1. That seems like it would be a nice change up.

  3. My oldest son is coming to visit, and we always have lots of family time all together when he’s here. Plus we’ll be celebrating his birthday and mine. Happy August!

    1. Happy August and Happy Birthday to you both. Mine is today.

  4. I don’t think we’ll get cooler temps in August, but I’m already looking forward to when that does happen. I just went for a morning walk at 8:30 and the heat index was already 93. Time for a shower! 🙂

    1. Oh wow! We had a few cooler nights and mornings this week like 63 and it felt so good.

  5. Good morning, Paula! Thank you so much for featuring my post on parenting. What a sweet blessing!

It looks like a busy August for us. We have a dear friend in Florida who will probably go home to be with the Lord soon. Of course, it’s sad for all of us here but he is ready and at peace. My husband will do the funeral when that time comes. While we’re in Florida, we’ll drive up to Jacksonville and see our daughter. Then my husband needs to have shoulder surgery. So it does look busy. Many blessings!

    1. It’s my pleasure to feature your post. It was one of the most viewed. Your August sure does sound busy. I’m sad to hear about your friend. And wish you a blessed visit with your daughter.

  11. Yes, let’s enjoy these precious weeks of warmth and sunlight! I’m taking a trip with my husband to Badlands NP in a few weeks and looking forward to it. I always feel like summer ends in August because that’s always been “back to school,” and we talk about going back to school “in the fall.” But a friend reminded me that summer goes all the way past the middle of September, so that helps me feel like August isn’t an “end.” 🙂 I’ve shared posts 117, 118, and 119 this time. Off now to visit and comment on 3 other posts. Thanks so much for hosting this wonderful linkup!

    1. Have an awesome time on your trip. I’m always happy you’re here my dear friend.

  15. Paula, as you can see I am WAY behind on commenting. I hope your month has gone well. I can’t believe it’s mid-August and while I usually look forward to fall, I have mixed emotions about this one coming because it promises to be so busy. One day at a time is my continual motto! Hugs, friend.
