The crisp autumn morning air
brings a sense of peace and care
as I sip on my steaming cup of joe
I feel the warmth from head to toe

The leaves are shades of gold and red
as they fall gently to their bed
the quietness of the morning still
Is a time for me to fill

I think of Jesus and his love so pure
how he offers us a love so sure
as I take another sip of my brew
I feel his presence and his love anew

The world may be chaotic and loud
but in this moment, I am proud
to be filled with his love and grace
as I gaze upon his beautiful face

So on this early autumn morn
I am grateful for love that’s born
in the warmth of my coffee cup
and the grace of Jesus, lifting me up
