It’s summer! The sun is shining, the birds are singing. What’s on your summer playlist?

Whether you’re spending your summer days at the beach, pool, or park, or just hanging out at home, a good playlist can help you relax, have fun, and even connect with God.

For me, a good summer playlist is all about finding songs that are both uplifting and fun. I want to be bopping to some of my favoriate songs while I’m driving with the windows down, or just relaxing at home. Here are a few of the top 2023 songs that I’ve been bopping to on K-Love Radio this summer.

Here We Go!

Big God By Terrian

Praise You Anywhere By Brandon Lake

The King Is Alive By Jordan Feliz

Easy To Praise By Patrick Mayberry

What Are We Waiting For? By  for KING & COUNTRY

Yes I Am By Christian Paul

These are just a few of the many great Christian songs that would be perfect for your summer playlist. So put on your headphones, crank up the volume, and enjoy the summer vibes!

Here are some additional tips for creating an uplifting summer playlist:

Start with your favorite Christian songs. These are the songs that will always make you feel good and remind you of God’s love.

Add some fun, upbeat secular songs. These songs will help you relax and have fun in the summer sun. There are some 60’s—70’s & 80’s tunes I tune into too.

Don’t be afraid to mix it up. If you’re feeling adventurous, try adding some songs from different genres to your playlist.

Most importantly, have fun! The goal is to create a playlist that you’ll enjoy listening to all summer long.

So what’s on your summer playlist? Whether you’re a fan of Christian music or secular music, I hope you’ll find some songs to add to your list. And most importantly, I hope you have a great summer! Tell me in the comments— What are you listening to this summer? Christian & Secular Tunes?

  2. I so rarely get to pick any music to listen to anymore as my teenage boys tend to commandeer my radio when we’re in the car; I don’t mind though as I like getting to know the music they’re listening to.

    1. I miss those days!!

  3. Christian Paul’s song – what an uplifiting song. Perfect for a school or go-to-work song! Thanks for sharing your list. I don’t keep up with songs much – but I do have a playlist. I think this one needs to be added.

    1. Thanks Joanne, and you’re so welcome 🤗

  7. Paula, thanks for your playlist. I do need to make one and I will add your recommendations. I listen to my church worship on Sundays and then songs my fellow bloggers recommend through the week and then my husband is our home DJ – we go from Christian to oldies, classic rock, jazz and country.

    1. Lol, sounds like me Debbie. For the most part I listen to K-Love Radio but I go through oldies, classic rock and country too.

  8. Paula, thank you for hosting and also sharing your playlist. 🥰 I’ve created a few playlists. I also share a few with my girls. This way they can add to it. We have a playlist called Uplifting Christian Music. It helps brighten our day.

  10. Thanks for sharing your playlist, Paula. I shared Big God, What Are You Waiting For, and Yes I Am with my youngest children. 🙂 This summer, I have been listening to some of my old favorites – Hallelujahs Rockettown Worship songs…I Am Nothing & Holy (Watermark); Throne Room by Kim Walker-Smith; Holy God by Brian Doerksen on Integrity Worship 24:7; Come Alive (Dry Bones) & Trust in You by Lauren Daigle; Kari Jobe. I have a playlist called Holy and it greatly encourages me to enter into the throne room of heaven with the angels in declaring Who He is… Thanks for hosting!

    1. Ooo, I love Dry Bones. Oh my gosh Lisa, listening to worship songs makes my heart so uplifted, like a warm sunshiny hug from God.

  25. I don’t create seasonal playlists, other than Christmas ones! So my playlists are collections of old and new, and some are mixes of Christian and secular. My favorites tend to be Christian rock and pop, but lots of worship music finds its way into my playlists as well.

Glad I stumbled on your link-up again – somehow I missed the connection when you moved to the new blog!

    1. I like Christian pop too. I’m so happy you found my link up again. And thanks so much for linking up.
