I\’m linking up with friends for Share Four Somethings March 2023 over @ Jennifer\’s place, Overflowing With Thankfulness; each month, we share something we LovedReadLearned, and Ate

Something Loved

So I can\’t say that I loved it, but I enjoyed house-sitting for my best friend while she and her husband drove his sister, who\’s moving to Florida, to Florida. They were gone for two weeks, so I was delighted to babysit their dogs. Between their dogs and mine, they were a hoot.

Something Read

Okay, so it\’s March, and I have to say I\’ve been referencing Mary Geisen\’s book the Advent Narrative; The Life You Didn\’t Know You Were Already Living. I chose Advent for my Word Of The Year 2023. The way Mary tenderheartedly explains things is so easy to understand. I felt such warmth, joy, excitement, and anticipation about awaiting Jesus\’ return in our everyday wilderness.

Something Learned

I enjoy reading about interesting, strange, medical, history, animal, and earth facts. And more. So I Google different things, and there are some very interesting things out there.

Ate

Oh My! My friend made liver. Specifically breaded calf liver and onions. Yes, I am a liver fan. Then today, before I started writing this, I made haluski. Fried cabbage and noodles, I added some onion and a bit of garlic too. It was good; but I can never seem to make anything exactly the same and as good as my parents used to make.

Sending have a great April wishes your way dear friends.
