Scripture

\”Cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you;
He will never allow the righteous to be shaken\”

Psalm 55:22— NASB

And

\”Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.\”

Matthew 6:34— NIV

Prayer

Dear Father, I come before you today to lay my worries down because I know you will comfort me. I know you will keep me from being broken. Your word tells me not to worry about tomorrow, but I confess that sometimes I do. Please help me remember that tomorrow will worry about itself, and every day can have troubles. I pray that my eyes always be focused on you, knowing your unfailing love and comfort will bring me through any troubles that head my way.
In Jesus\’ Name,
Amen

  1. I especially love the Matthew 6 verse. I have to recite that chapter to myself often, especially the last 1/3 of it. Thanks for sharing your heart, Paula.

  2. Thank you for this beautiful post, Paula.

    I have anxiety issues, and praying and surrendering everything to the Lord helps me get past the fear and worry.

    1. I hear you, Veronica. I have anxiety, sometimes severe, and panic attacks at times. And you are so right, praying and surrendering to God helps me get past the anxiety too. There always seems to be a praise or worship song in my head. {{Hugs}}
