This weeks prompt is {DETERMINED}

Kaye said, Determined.

GO

Your Dictionary describes determined this way someone with their mind made up about something. Synonyms include decided, purpose, firm, planned.

I\’m determined initially and gung ho at the beginning of a project or plan.

To

  • Start or finish that craft project
  • To start or finish reading that book
  • To start or finish writing that book (that one\’s begun)
  • To start or finish cleaning
  • Meaning to call that friend
  • Meaning to write more

Naturally, I\’m determined to start or finish many things. But sometimes, chronic illness gets in the way.

Don\’t get me wrong; I do accomplish a lot. Just sometimes not in the time frame I\’d like.

I\’m determined and excited to have lunch with you, and I can\’t wait to see you. But depending on that day, my body may say no way. I\’m sorry I disappointed us both.

That\’s the thing about chronic illness. It rears its ugly little head at the most inopportune times.

I\’m determined to start or finish a plan, and with Jesus carrying me through, I can do all things through Christ, who gives me strength.

Stop
