Book Review— How To Be Filled With The Holy Spirit; By A.W. Tozer

Within this compact book, How to Be Filled With the Holy Spirit, A.W.Tozer is direct in explaining why we need the Holy Spirit.

He is straight and to the point with asking the reader up front, \” Do you really want to be filled?\” He tells the reader who the Holy Spirit is, and isn\’t and why he is often times over looked. Tozer poses several questions for the reader to consider. And, at the end, if the reader answers that first question, and does indeed want to be filled with The Holy Spirit. He concludes with how to be filled with the Holy Spirit.

This was my first experience reading a work by A.W. Tozer. At first I felt his style was dry and difficult to understand. I found his language and speech patterns difficult to follow. However, by the end of the book as I became acclimated I was able to understand and fully follow his teaching.

I will still recommend this book to anyone seeking to understand who the Holy Spirit is, where he fits in with the big picture of the Christian life, and how to be filled with him.
